Bugatti Type 35 - Race-Focused Road Vehicle Pioneer
Introduced in 1924, the Bugatti Type 35 is considered an icon. It's the vehicle that perfected the concept of a car that can race and is still capable of regular road use.

Bugatti, as a brand, lay dormant for decades until its revival under Volkswagen. It made its triumphant return in 2005 with the introduction of the Bugatti Veyron.

Bugatti Chiron - The King of Speed
Bugatti's return with the Veyron has gained the attention of car enthusiasts worldwide. But the manufacturer did not rest on its laurels, pushing boundaries with the release of the Bugatti Chiron.

Bugatti has already achieved incredible speed using the powerful W16 engine. Through Chiron, emphasis on its design and build pushed the vehicle's capability further. Aerodynamic with a carbon fiber body, the Chiron is lighter and could easily move through the road with minimal resistance.
The result is nothing less extraordinary: the top speed for Chiron Super Sport 300+ is 482km/h. This achievement is particularly significant, as it marks the first road-legal vehicle to surpass a top speed of 300 mph. Like the Veyron, the Chiron is a limited-production vehicle, with only 500 units manufactured.
W16 Engine - Engineering Marvel for the Modern Bugatti
Bugatti's return and success as one of the world's best hypercar brands is largely thanks to the W16 Engine. Named for its shape, the W16 is a specially designed V16 engine that combines the power of two V8s while remaining compact for stability and reduced movement.
Unfortunately, the W16 is no longer roadworthy due to emission regulations. It did go out with a bang, though, as the Bugatti Mistral once again whetted the appetite of car enthusiasts:

The Mistral is notable not only as the last W16 but also the first open-top. As a roadster, it is the fastest with a recorded top speed of 453.9km/h.
The Future of Bugatti
The W16 will cease its run with the Mistral, but Bugatti will live on through its next-generation engine, the V16.
Bugatti's V16 is a hybrid engine with a few modifications compared to standard hybrids. It comes with a naturally aspirated 8.3L V16 engine paired with three motors (two front and one rear).
The result? Faster and cleaner turbo reaction, and its electric mode makes it consumer-friendly for city driving.
The V16 is going to be the engine of choice for the upcoming Bugatti Tourbillon. Announced in 2024 with an expected release date in 2026, the Tourbillon is reportedly more aerodynamic and lighter than the Chiron.
