The ZAZ 1103, also known as the ZAZ Tavria, is a compact hatchback produced by the Soviet and Ukrainian manufacturer ZAZ from the late 1980s onwards. It was designed as an affordable, practical vehicle with a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout, aimed at replacing older rear-wheel-drive models. Throughout its production span, the ZAZ 1103 saw various updates and minor redesigns but largely retained its original compact dimensions, making it suitable for urban driving and efficient use of space. As a notable example of Soviet-era automotive engineering, it holds a unique place in Eastern European automotive history.
