The Daewoo Kalos is a subcompact car produced by the South Korean automaker Daewoo from 1999 until 2005 under the Kalos name, before being rebranded in different markets. It was designed to offer a practical and affordable vehicle with a compact footprint suitable for urban driving. The Kalos featured a hatchback and sedan versions, with its first generation known for simplicity and economical performance. This model laid the groundwork for what later evolved into the Chevrolet Aveo following General Motors' acquisition of Daewoo.
