Cadillac Catera

The Cadillac Catera is a mid-size luxury sedan produced from 1997 to 2001, marking Cadillac’s effort to compete in the European and Japanese luxury car markets. Based on the Opel Omega, the Catera combined European handling dynamics with Cadillac's luxury features. Over its single generation, it featured a V6 engine and a comfortable, well-appointed interior. Though it was discontinued after 2001, the Catera remains a notable model that bridged traditional American luxury with more agile, European styling and performance.
