The i3 was BMW's first electric vehicle. It was released in 2013 as a 5-door electric hatchback with rear wheel drive. The i3s, a sportier version of the i3, was later released in 2017.
Though no longer in production, the i3 actually paved the way for other BMW electric cars like the BMW i4 and BMW iX.
